Duties of the Investment Section

• Disseminating information on investment in Thailand to public and private sectors through meetings, seminars, presentations and other appropriate means to enhance business and investment cooperation
• Providing comprehensive information on investment in Thailand to persons interested
• Arranging site visits
• Identifying potential suppliers, subcontractors and joint-venture partners
• Providing useful contacts with public and private organizations

The Investment Section works closely with the Thailand Board of Investment (BOI), which operates unter the Ministry of Industry and is the principal government agency for encouraging investment by offering services which enhance competitiveness and by providing business support to investors. The Thailand Board of Investment (BOI) is also the best contact point for investors who wish to set up a business in Thailand.

The Investment Section is assigned to implement and achieve its duties in the following nine countries: Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Czech and Hungary.
